The Nanda Sacred Trails is a Himalayan trail running experience set in the remote mountain village of Lohajung in Uttarakhand. The race explores ancient forest trails, traditional Himalayan villages, and the vast alpine meadows of Aali Bugyal and Bedni Bugyal.
Runners move through terrain ranging from dense oak and rhododendron forests to high altitude bugyal grasslands, with sweeping views of Trishul, Nanda Ghunti and the greater Garhwal Himalaya.
More than a race, this is an immersive mountain experience designed to prepare runners for altitude through acclimatization treks before race day.

The race starts from the mountain village of Lohajung in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Lohajung is the gateway to the famous Aali Bugyal and Bedni Bugyal alpine meadows and serves as the base for the Nanda Sacred Trails.
